Hyderabad-based precision engineering firm MTAR Technologies has bagged an order worth ₹15.4 crore from the Defense Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL).
For the manufacture and supply of full and small scale combustion equipment for the development of advanced air-breathing engine technology in defense systems.
The order, which will be executed in September 2025 according to the terms of the contract, is planned to strengthen its capacity in the supply of future production engine systems related to various defense systems, the company said in a filing on Monday (September 23, 2024). ). MTAR Technologies has seven manufacturing units, including an export-oriented unit, in Hyderabad. The company is responsible for clean energy – public nuclear power; fuel cells; hydel and others, space and defense sectors.
