Pushpa 2 trampling case: Allu Arjun appears at Hyderabad police station for questioning | Indian news

Telugu actor Allu Arjun arrived at the Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning for questioning in the Pushpa 2 stampede case.

The police on Monday issued a notice to Arjun, asking him to appear at the Hyderabad police station on Tuesday morning. Arjun told them that he would cooperate with their investigation, the police said.

This comes days after the actor was arrested on December 13, and granted four weeks’ interim bail by the Telangana High Court, in connection with the stampede at the premiere of his film Pushpa 2 at a theater in Hyderabad on December 4.

A woman died while her nine-year-old son was seriously injured in the massacre, which the police said happened after Arjun arrived at the theatre.
