There are eight teams left in the College Football Playoff, including a number of top dogs.
The first round of the CFP concluded on Saturday, and every team that was expected to win did so – with hard work.
We are now through to the quarterfinals. But there are issues that go beyond the simple lines of the game.
What about Texas and Ohio State against the field? What about the other two favorites, Oregon and Georgia, against the rest of the best?

CFP Championship Game Winner – Georgia vs. the platform
Georgia: +550 ($10 bet to win $65 total)
Field: -900 (bet $10 to win a total of $11.11)
CFP Championship Game Winner – Ohio State vs. the platform
Ohio State: +380 (bet $10 to win $48 total)
Odds: -550 (bet $10 to win $11.82 total)
CFP Championship Game Winner — Oregon vs. field
Oregon: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
Field: -600 (bet $10 to win a total of $11.67)
CFP Championship Game Winner – Texas vs. the platform
Texas: +340 (bet $10 to win $44 total)
Odds: -475 (bet $10 to win $12.11 total)
As noted, the field — which includes Notre Dame, Penn State, Boise State and Arizona State — is a heavy favorite over the SEC-champion Bulldogs, SEC runner-up Longhorns, Big Ten-champion Ducks and Buckeyes.
Of the four teams on the field, the Ducks are the only ones who have not lost. They have a first-round bye, as well as Georgia.
Texas and Ohio State both put together outstanding games in the first round, with the Longhorns beating Clemson 38-24 and the Buckeyes beating Tennessee 42-17.
DraftKings also disagrees on which teams are picked to make the CFP title game.
Georgia will advance to the CFP Championship Game
Yes: -275 (bet $10 to win a total of $13.64)
No: +210 (bet $10 to win $31 total)
Ohio State to reach the CFP Championship Game

Oregon advanced to the CFP Championship Game

Texas advances to the CFP Championship Game

No: +145 (bet $10 to win $24.50 total)
Finally, the Big Ten (Oregon, Penn State and Ohio State) is at -125 to be the winningest conference. Second to it is the SEC (Georgia and Texas) at +165.
Independents (Notre Dame) are at +550, the Big 12 (Arizona State) is at +7000 and the Mountain West (Boise State) is at +7000.
