A case has been registered against a woman’s husband, her sister and her parents for singling her and putting pepper in her private part, while their neighbor was booked for rape in Madhya Pradesh, Rajgarh, the police said on Saturday.
The alleged crimes took place on December 13, police said.
Based on his complaint, a case was registered at the Guna district police station, where the complainant’s parents live and transferred to Rajgarh district on Friday, said Biaora police chief Neha Gaur.
According to the complainant, a 25-year-old neighbor came to his house for some reason and molested him.
“He pushed me to the ground, turned off the light, and started to molest me covering my mouth. I was shocked by the sudden attack. Suddenly, his sister-in-law came… and the accused got scared and tried to run away,” he said in his complaint.
The complainant’s sister is said to have been insulting him and asking questions about his character. He revealed that other family members also gathered, his father-in-law peppered his genitals, and his mother-in-law hit him with a hot spatula.
The police chief said that a case has been registered against the woman’s husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and sister for assault and torture, while the neighbor was booked for rape.
All the suspects fled and will be arrested soon, said the official.
