“The people of Mumbai know the work done by the state government and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Everyone knows who voted for the other side which resulted in them winning a few seats. But this will not happen again,” said Shinde.
Researching the Shiv Sena (UBT), Shinde said that those who have been ruling the area for a long time have failed to address issues such as housing and reconstruction.
Earlier, Shinde who was accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Milind Deora, held meetings with party workers and former elected representatives. Shinde also visited other assembly constituencies like Byculla and Sewri under Mumbai South LS constituency. Arvind Sawant of Shiv Sena (UBT) won the seat in the recently held LS elections.
