Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu says people involved in land grabbing cases will be arrested

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said on Friday that people involved in land grabbing will be arrested.

Speaking on the occasion of Revenue Sadassulu (revenue meeting) in Krishna district of Edupugallu, he said, “Be careful not to grab even a single cent of land. If anyone resorts to land grabbing, cheating and stealing, such people will be put in jail.”

The Chief Minister said that the government will take necessary steps to resolve the world issues in a peaceful manner and said that it will follow the laws until the issues are resolved. He said the land reform mistakes will be corrected soon.

“You have elected the NDA Government led by the Telugu Desam Party with a vote share of 57 percent, which puts a lot of faith in us. We have been trying hard for the past six months to fulfill your expectations,” he said.

The Chief Minister criticized the previous government led by Jagan Mohan Reddy and said that it had “completely destroyed” all programs in the state. He said that the Land Census Act brought by the YSRCP government has created a worst situation in the state.

The Chief Minister said that more than three lakh people have attended the Revenue Sadassulu meetings and 95,263 applications have been received so far.

Naidu said the government will provide QR codes on passbooks and a marking center where land records can be checked anytime.

It is noteworthy that the meetings of Revenue Sadassulu are held in all the villages in the province from December 6 to January 8.
