“Did you feel like you knew when we were married that I like girls?” Ovard, 28, asked Ferris, 29, in a Wednesday, December 18, TikTok video, reading aloud the fan’s question.
Ferris, on the other hand, noted that Ovard’s revelation was not entirely a surprise.
“I think there were signs,” Ferris replied.

After Ovard broke up with Ferris, he confirmed on TikTok that he would be open to dating a woman.
“There are a lot of people who struggle with their sexuality for, like, a lot of different reasons,” she said in a video earlier this month. “I’ve always been told that I can love whoever I want and be whoever I want, so I’ve always known that. At this point in my life, I’m not confused about my gender.”
Ovard added, “I’m so confused by straight people because they’re like, ‘How come you don’t want to date girls?’ Like, I don’t understand that.”
Ovard recently started dating again after his divorce.
In April, news broke that Ovard had filed for divorce from Ferris after nine years on the day they announced the birth of their third daughter. (Ovard and Ferris share daughters Cove, 4, and Lola, 2.)
“It’s like the next chapter,” he said on the September episode of the “Pretty Basic” podcast. “My mother divorced and remarried, my grandparents all divorced and remarried—every one of them. As I see them all now, I can say, ‘You all are very happy. I can’t imagine if he is still married.’ Life goes on.”
Ovard also admitted that divorce is “still a very damaging thing” when children are involved.

“We have a lot to go through,” he added. “I’m like, ‘Whatever works for my family is what I do. I didn’t care what anyone else would think about that.”
According to Ovard, he will also “never share” what led to his decision to file for divorce.
Ovard has reversed his previous decision to share details about his daughters on social media, starting with baby number 3’s name.
“I haven’t fully decided, [but] I’ve been leaning towards sharing it,” he said in an April vlog. “I was waiting to see what nicknames he would come up with and I would give him something like that. He has a few nicknames so far, but nothing that I feel will fully stick and that I would like to refer to him as when I talk about him. “
Ovard continued, “If I could go back, I wouldn’t have shared Cove and Lola’s real names. Do I just assign nicknames, I wish I did that, so with this baby, I’m like, ‘I want to share her name?’ I think I will finally have something to refer to [in my social posts].”
