India’s primary responsibility is to present its glorious way of life to the world: Mohan Bhagwat | Pune news

Stating that he finds “urja” (strength) in the land of Morya Gosavi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday said that it is India’s great responsibility to present its glorious way of life to the world so that others can follow and find happiness and prosperity.

Speaking at the inauguration of Moraya Gosavi Sanjivan Samadhi in Pimpri Chinchwad, he said, “Chinchwad is a holy and awakened land. Here, one experiences the presence of Morya Gosavi Maharaj. In the land of Morya Gosavi, one finds ‘urja’.’ Morya’s religion should go all over the world. The whole world should get the blessings of ‘Mangalmurti’. And everyone should give his religion.”

On this occasion, Chinchwad Devasthan Trust general manager Mandar Dev Maharaj, Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sanstha Samiti general manager Rajendra Umap, PCMC commissioner Shekhar Singh, Chinchwad Devasthan trustees Jitendra Dev, Keshav V and Devraj Dahale, among others, were present on the stage.

Bhagwat said that dharma, which is the basis of everyone’s life, must be preserved and revived according to the changing times. The essence of Indian ethics lies in ensuring the welfare of all, he said.

“It is everyone’s duty to maintain balance and patience to ensure the proper functioning of the world system. In Indian culture, there has always been a tradition of going back to nature. In today’s terms, this can be described as ‘recovery’. The structure of our dharma is built on this principle of ‘return’. Our ancestors saw it and did it as nature itself works on this,” he said.

He said our ancestors not only understood the concept of balance in dharma but also led by example, showing how to live peacefully while ensuring harmony and progress for all.

“This dharma ensures the welfare and progress of all, that is why India must live, grow and progress. It is the primary responsibility of India to show the world its glorious way of life so that others can follow and find happiness and success,” he said.

Bhagwat added that the structure of the world is based on conflict. “Over the past 2,000 years, our lives have been influenced by dominant ideologies. Although these have become increasingly useful, they have also caused endless controversy. Therefore, our ancestors accepted the eternal Sanatan Dharma, based on spirituality, making material life harmonious. The feeling of being a part of it is the foundation of the world,” said Bhagwat.

Explaining that he was lucky to get the opportunity to take the blessings of Morya Gosavi Maharaj, Bhagwat said that Chinchwad is steeped in history. “Idols like Sant Tukaram Maharaj, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Ramdas Swami entered this world to sanctify it.”
