Jagan calls it ‘Vision 2047’ as an advertising medium

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy dismissed the ‘Swarna Andhra Vision-2047’ document as a publicity stunt by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

In a post on X on Sunday, the former Chief Minister said the vision document was a ploy to deceive and mislead the public. “In the document of Mr. Naidu, there is no room for the needs of the State or the people, let alone a realistic view. The administration of Mr. Naidu has never focused on fulfilling the promises made in his manifesto in the five years that the people have given him. The attention of Mr. Naidu is always focused on deceiving and misleading people, rather than helping them honestly,” he said.

“In 1998, again, Mr. Naidu released his ‘Vision 2020′, which marked a dark chapter in the history of United Andhra Pradesh. Farmers’ suicides, migration in search of work, difficulties due to unemployment and jobs – he hid all these problems and promoted his ‘idea’ with a huge advertising campaign. Under the guise of self-discipline, he indulged in corruption by giving valuable government assets to his friends,” said Mr. Jagan.

“Generally, as time goes by, any State or country will grow economically due to inflation and natural growth. “Whether we look at the next ten years or the past ten years, this is a common practice in any region or country,” added Mr.
