The Los Angeles Guerrillas stayed perfect in the Call of Duty League 2025 Stage 1 Major qualifying, earning a 3-1 victory over the Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 on Friday.
The Thieves improved to 3-0, while the Guerrillas slipped to 0-3.
In other action as week 2 continues, Cloud9 New York topped Minnesota Rokkr 3-1, Boston Breach defeated Miami Heretics 3-2 and OpTic Texas defeated Vancouver Surge 3-1.
12 CDL teams are competing online for placement in the Junior Division 1, scheduled for Jan. 10-12, and Phase 1 Essential, scheduled for Jan. 30-Feb. 2 in Madrid.
On Friday, Thieves opened with a 250-241 victory over Rewind Hardpoint and a 6-3 victory over Skyline Search and Destroy. The Guerrillas defeated Vault Control 3-1 before the Thieves won 250-249 on Skyline Hardpoint.
Cloud9 took Protocol Hardpoint 250-227 and Skyline Search and Destroy 6-5 before Rokkr took Vault Control 3-0. New York closed out the series with a 250-109 blowout at Skyline Hardpoint.
Breach got Vault Hardpoint 250-208 and Rewind Search and Destroy 6-2 before Herists drew level by taking Vault Control 3-1 and Red Card Hardpoint 250-205. Boston won the fifth final map, Skyline Search and Destroy, 6-2.
After Surge won the Red Card Hardpoint 250-227, OpTic moved on to the next three maps: 6-1 in Red Card Search and Destroy, 3-1 in Vault Control and 250-109 in Protocol Hardpoint.
