Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has done his fair share of commercials, but his latest for Accelerator Active Energy comes with a nod to the iconic comic book character.

Kelce called on his inner Ron Burgundy, Will Ferrell’s character from the hit movie “Anchorman,” to deliver the news about Accelerator Active Energy’s new Orange Ice Pop flavor.

But it wasn’t Travis Kelce who was reporting the news. It was his anchor alter ego, Travis Cornflower.

“Hi, I’m Travis Cornflower, and you probably aren’t!” said the strangely presented new ad.

“I get a word from my wonderful producer with the words that this new scent – ​​Holy Citrus! – Orange Ice Pop. The best flavor of all flavors.”

Kelce became an investor last year in the energy drink company along with his older brother, Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce, and New York Yankees MVP Aaron Judge, among others.

Kelce’s outgoing personality has led to many sponsorships and investment opportunities, and he doesn’t mind getting in front of the camera.

But Kelce has been spotted on game days walking down the tunnel with an Accelerator in hand.
