A truck was caught on camera colliding with a private bus near Thandalam, Tamil Nadu. The footage, now widely shared online, shows the bus trying to turn when a speeding lorry rammed its side. The impact caused the bus to overturn before the truck came to a stop after hitting a power pole.
The accident left seven passengers and the truck driver seriously injured. Paramedics rushed the victims to Sriperumbudur Government Hospital for immediate treatment. Authorities have not released any details on the severity of the injuries, but reports indicate that the dead are in stable condition.
CCTV footage of the crash has since gone viral, clearly showing the time of impact and the chaotic aftermath. The investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing as the police are examining the photos to find out if the truck driver was at fault for speeding or if there were other factors that contributed to the accident.
