Youth 4 Panun Kashmir (Y4PK), an organization of Kashmiri Pandit youths, on Monday said they have lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police’s Cyber Crime Cell against PDP leader Iltija Mufti for his “defamatory and violent” allegations.
Stating that the complaint was filed by Vithal Chowdhary, president of Y4PK, the statement said Iltija’s remarks were “deeply offensive, aimed at inciting social discord, and deliberately defames Lord Rama, the Hindu religion and its followers”. The petition cited Sections 302, 325, and 323 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 67 of the IT Act.
Roots in Kashmir (RIK), another prominent Kashmiri Pandit organization, welcomed the Y4PK movement. RIK’s Amit Raina said he would provide all assistance to Chowdhary to ensure Iltija is booked.
