Delhi New CM Atishi Oath Ceremony Live: Days after being named as the CM nominee, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi will be sworn in as the youngest Chief Minister of Delhi today. Five other newly appointed ministers – Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Rai, Imran Hussain, Kailash Gahlot, and new Sultanpur MLA Majra Mukesh Ahlawat – will also be sworn in at Raj Bhavan around 4.30 pm.

One vacancy in Delhi Cabinet: With the swearing-in ceremony underway today, one post in the seven-member Delhi Cabinet is expected to remain vacant for now. The office of the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat is said to have received only six names for the swearing-in ceremony, according to an AAP official who did not give further details on the reason.

Kejriwal and his house: Outgoing Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will hold ‘Janta ki Adalat‘ (people’s court) at 11 am at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar to face corruption charges brought against him by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and) in the tax policy case. Meanwhile, AAP has also sought government accommodation for Kejriwal, highlighting his role as a national party convener. “He has no property or house. As a national party convener, he is entitled to government accommodation, and we urge the Center to grant it,” said AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha.
