The preparations for the live concert of popular singer Karan Aujla on Saturday evening are nearing completion, but the Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh said permission for the event has not been given yet.

Talking to Indian Express, Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav said, “No permission has been given yet. We got the police NOC and other NOCs yesterday evening. We will check and process them today.”
More than 15,000 tickets have been sold for the event, which will be held at the Sector 34 Exhibition Ground. This three-hour event is scheduled to start at 7pm and end at 10pm and it is expected that the accommodation will be opened a few hours before the event.

Three-tier barricades have been put up all over the place. Several routes leading to Sector 34 grounds will be diverted on Saturday evening.
There are strict security measures in place, with more than 150 banners to be used by the organizing agency.
Yudhveer Singh, a resident of Sector 27 who is planning to attend the concert with his wife Nayampreet, expressed his happiness.
“Karan Aujla represents a new genre, and recently his songs have been hitting the charts. I love them that’s why I attended his concert,” he said.
The event is held at Sector 34, which is directly opposite the Carnival Ground. A big stage has been opened for this singer’s live performance.
