There is a long queue at the ticket booth at the stations, and many buy Tatkal tickets. People are worried about not getting a confirmed ticket or seats in the train. However, the railways say they have many special trains.

To celebrate the great Chhath festival, many people return to their homes in Bihar. But now they are worried about going back. Tickets or trains returning from Bihar are not available, and people travel in ordinary rooms. What caused the overcrowding in these compartments.
To avoid the crowded trains, some turned to buses. Bus fares from Bihar to other states are increasing rapidly. It is reported that private buses from Patna to Lucknow cost between Rs 2,800 to Rs 3,000. Some people plan to come back after four or five days to avoid the rush.
446 Long Distance Trains
The railways have made special arrangements to handle the crowds. The East Central Railway has announced that special trains are being run at various stations. According to Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, 446 special long-distance trains will operate between November 8 and November 22.
On Friday, 35 special trains left from stations like Barauni, Darbhanga, Danapur, Gaya, Jayanagar, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Raxaul, Saharsa, Samastipur, and others, to various parts of the country.
The PRO of East Central Railway, Saraswati Chandra, said crowd management plans have been made at all major stations. He also mentioned that strict security measures are being taken.
In collaboration with the provincial government, home guards have been deployed at different stations.
