Get ready for more glass bridges because Squid game season 2 is coming soon.
Netflix released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming season of the Korean drama late Thursday, September 19. Squid game season 2 premieres December 26 on Netflix.
The clip shows Lee Jung-jaeSeong Gi-hun returns to the dangerous game of life or death, although this time he will swear to take revenge on the organizers of the game and end the gruesome competition once and for all. The clip features Gi-hun waking up in the famous Squid Game dorm wearing his green tracksuit – he’s also number 456.
Squid game season 2 takes place three years after season 1 where Gi-hun won the jackpot of 4.56 billion, which is $38 million.
The dystopian drama’s second season was filmed back-to-back with the third and final season, which will premiere in 2025.
