Two more people were arrested on Thursday in a case related to the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique, a police chief said.
So far, 18 people have been arrested in this case.
Aditya Gulankar, 22, and Rafique Niyaz Shaikh, 22, both residents of Karvenagar, in the city of Pune, were taken into custody when they were in contact with Pravin Lonkar, one of the accused conspirators, and the other accused Rupesh Mohol, said the official.
Lonkar and Mohol, both of whom have been arrested, allegedly gave Gulankar and Shaikh a 9 mm gun and ammunition, saying they would be used in the crime.
The gun was recovered during the investigation while ammunition was being processed.
