The stars of Bachelor Nation welcomed the golden audience Ramen and Pinot ahead of their 2021 wedding. They announced their split in August 2023 but remained committed to sharing the puppies.
“Our dogs will continue to be cared for together as brothers. Although their people are no longer romantically involved, we will love and care for them together,” Bristowe and Tartick wrote in a statement on Instagram.
A year later, Bristowe decided to stop separating the houses after the dogs appeared to be “anxious” walking between the houses.
“What I’ve seen from sharing babysitting dogs is that they’re very scared and uncomfortable and very anxious not knowing where they’re going and when they’re coming back,” he said on his September 2024 episode of the “Off the Vine” podcast. “This is not for anyone [and] it happens when they are in the same house and when they are in my house.”
Bristowe noted that he was willing to allow Tartick to continue visiting Ramen and Pinot.
“I do what’s best for the dogs,” Bristowe said. “You are welcome to see them if he is in town on the weekend or if he wants to go for a walk. I will never keep them from anyone.”
