Actress Helena Luke, who was there Mithun ChakrabortyThe first wife, died on Sunday in the USA. Dancer and actress Kalpana Iyer shared the news of her death on social media. Helena was best known for her role in Amitabh Bachchan’s 1985 film Mard. She was married to Mithun Chakraborty for four months, but their marriage ended within four months.
Helena made her last post on Facebook at 9:20 am on Sunday where she wrote, “Feeling weird. Mixed emotions and don’t know why, separated. “

In an old interview, Helena had called her four-month marriage with Mithun a ‘nightmare’. She told Stardust Magazine that, “I wish it hadn’t happened, he was the one who tricked me into believing that he was my man, unfortunately he succeeded. When back then there were rumors of her reconciliation with Mithun Chakraborty, the actress had shared, “I will not go back to him even if he is the richest man. I have not even asked for alimony, it was a nightmare, it’s over.”
Mithun who had promised Helena’s father that he would treat her like the ‘9th wonder of the world’ would leave her alone. He continued to say in the interview, “I really believed him when he told me he loved me.” But when I got to know him better, I realized that he doesn’t like anyone but himself. He was extremely mature, and even though I was younger than him, I felt much older. She was angry and blamed me for seeing my ex-boyfriend Javed cheating. I used to be blue in the face trying to convince him that I didn’t, but I couldn’t succeed in getting rid of his deep suspicious nature. It was only later that I realized he was guilty. He was also deceiving me thinking that I was doing the same.”
According to reports, Helena posted her last text on social media reporting that she was not doing well, and not drinking in time led to her death.
