Margot Robbie and the husband Tom Ackerley they were business partners before they took the vows.
The two crossed paths while working in 2013 Suite Française and they form a close friendship before their connection turns romantic. “We’ve been friends for a long time,” Robbie said Vogue in 2016. “I always loved him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he’s never going to love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t make a fool of yourself and tell him you love him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Yeah, we’re together. This makes a lot of sense, in a way that has never made sense before.’”
Robbie and Ackerley became business partners, moving to London in 2014 to start LuckyChap Entertainment with a few partners. The production company has released several popular films, including Oscar nominees Promising Lady and blockbuster Barbie the movie. In December 2016, Us Weekly confirmed that the two tied the knot in Australia.
