In celebration of his horror film being able to be streamed on MUBI, the actor decided to share four shocking photos from the set of his critically-acclaimed latest film.
“Spoiler alert 🚨 I’ve been holding on to these gems from @trythesubstance and today feels like the right day to share them,” Moore, 61, wrote on Instagram on Thursday, October 31. “Happy Halloween from Elisabeth Sparkle 🧪 THING officially streaming today on @mubi!”
In the photos, Moore looks almost invisible as she undergoes a transformation with heavy make-up and prosthetics designed to make her look like an older woman with thin hair and fragile limbs.
Other photos show Moore holding her micro-Chihuahua, Pilaf. In another, he takes a creepy selfie while being splashed in fake blood.

In SomethingMoore plays Elisabeth Sparkle, an actress who is fired from her fitness TV show because she is too old. Hoping to regain his youth, he takes a black market drug to create a younger version of himself, played by Margaret Qualley.

Moore has opened up about how the talented team was able to completely change her look to play Elisabeth Sparkle. While shooting SomethingMoore recalls spending several hours in the makeup chair doing prosthetics to transform her face and body.
