Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Gujarat today and paid flowers to Sardar Vallabhai Patel on his birthday at the Declaration of Unity. He also attended the Unity Day in Kevadia, where he took the oath of Unity.
On Thursday morning, the Prime Minister said on Twitter that Sardar Patel’s top priority is “protecting the unity and sovereignty of the nation”.
“His personality and work will continue to inspire all generations of the country,” he added
