Oscar-nominated actress Teri Garr died on Tuesday at the age of 79, US media reported.
Garr, known for his work in films including Young Frankenstein, Mr Mom and Tootsie, died in Los Angeles after a 20-year battle with multiple sclerosis.
He first spoke publicly about the chronic autoimmune disease in 2002.
Garr has also appeared in television shows such as Star Trek and That Girl.
