We’re going into Week 8, and I have my eyes on a few games.
For those who are new to this space, if you are looking for a few wagers to enter The NFL action, I put it to you. Nothing makes football better than having a few bucks on the games every week.
Last week, we went 0-2 in this area.
Time to get back on track.
Last week: 0-2 (Season: 13-10)
(All times ET)
SUNDAY, OCT. 27
EAGLE @ BENGALS (1 p.m., CBS)
I won’t hold back if the Eagles beat a tough Giants team last week. Yes, they did what they had to do, but the Giants OL/QB combo might be the worst in the league right now. It’s not like Jalen Hurts was great, and he had Saquon Barkley’s earmarks just because he was motivated against the team that dumped him. Cincinnati is getting healthy, and I think the best unit on the field is the Bengals offense. It’s a good time for the Bengals to not drive the ball on their home field and end up winning one.
PICK: Bengals (-2.5) to win by more than 2.5 points
THE FALCONS @ THE BUCCANEERS (1 p.m., FOX and The FOX Sports App)
There might be a little overreaction here to the Tampa WR injury. The Bucs will still throw the ball. Maybe Cade Otton is having a big day. And remember, the background is still strong. The Falcons putting up points on the road against a team they should have lost to at home a few weeks ago? Can it go wrong?
PICK: Buccaneers (+2.5) to lose by under 2.5 points, or win outright
NFL Week 8 Super Six: Can the Seattle Seahawks pull off an UPSET against the Buffalo Bills?
DETAILS @ THE SEAHAWKS (4:05 p.m., FOX and The FOX Sports App)
We don’t know if DK Metcalf will play, but there are still plenty of weapons on a Seattle team that can’t pull off an upset. But I think with Kenneth Walker, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and others, the Seahawks should score points on the Buffalo defense that has a tendency to do that this year.
PICK: Seahawks team complete Over 20.5 points scored
