Repeated terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir have disturbed the peace of the Union Territory. In another deadly incident on October 20, six non-local laborers and a local doctor were killed when terrorists fired indiscriminately on them at the Z-Morh tunnel construction site in Gagangir area of ​​central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. Before that, a worker from Bihar was shot dead by terrorists in Shopian district on October 18.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on October 22 ordered the security forces to carry out coordinated counter-terrorism operations to eliminate terrorism in the Union Territory. He also ordered that the security force should be strengthened to ensure that there are no incidents of terrorism.
Search operations continued on Friday morning in Baramulla following a shootout between the army and terrorists last night.

4 KILLED IN GULMARG
Terrorists opened fire on a car at Bota Pathri area near Gulmarg in north Kashmir on the evening of October 24. Later the same day, the body of another non-local was found in Srinagar. However, the police said it is suspected that the man was killed in an apparent attack by an animal.
6 NON-LOCAL WORKERS KILLED IN GANDERBAL
On October 20, six non-local laborers and a local doctor were killed in a terrorist attack on a building in Ganderbal district. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that two foreign terrorists, who may have entered the Bandipora area of ​​north Kashmir, were involved in an attack that left seven people dead in Ganderbal district the previous day.
BIHAR WORKER SHOT DEAD IN SHOPIAN
On October 18, a laborer from Bihar was shot dead by terrorists in Shopian district. A bullet-riddled body was found in a field in Wachi area of ​​Zainapora.
BODY OF MISSING SOLDIER FOUND IN ANANTNAG
On October 9, security forces found the bullet-riddled body of a local soldier who had been abducted by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag. The jawan was identified as Hilal Ahmad Bhath. The terrorists had kidnapped two men of the territorial army, however, one of them managed to escape. Later, a joint anti-terrorist operation was launched by the Army to find another jawan.
