Apparently, Tom Holland had been talking to Downey about his role as Doctor Doom long before this information was revealed to the public in July. In a moment of clarity, the actor made the wise decision to avoid all interviews and subsequent questions of Marvel until the announcement was made at the now famous Marvel Comic-Con panel, which saw RDJ take the stage before tearing off the mask of Doom.
As we all know by now, the former Iron Man will be talking about his take for the first time Fantastic Four villain in 2026 Avengers: Doomsday. Currently, there is no information on whether this iteration of Doom will be a standalone or a Marvel staple.
