Kelsey Anderson you depend Joey Graziadei — and one of her sisters — while navigating social media haters during her tenure Dancing with the Stars.
“He always says, ‘Don’t let it bother you,'” Anderson, 26, said to himself. Us Weekly while developing his relationship with F- Cancer and the Little Words Project. “But sometimes I’m like, ‘You know, I need more support.’ I’ll call my sister Carly and talk to her and she’ll say, ‘Yeah, make a video.'”
Anderson noted that he finds a “good balance” of both perspectives. “Sometimes Carly — not the devil on my shoulder — but she’s like, ‘Do it. Like, why not? It can’t hurt you if it makes you feel better.’ Sometimes Joey is like, ‘You don’t have to answer. They don’t know.’
Anderson’s relationship with Graziadei has been on display since he competed in the 33rd season DWTS and my colleagues Jenna Johnson. Since the original series premiered in September, Anderson has released numerous videos on social media addressing trolls who have questioned their love.
On the night of dedication DWTSusers pointed to Anderson’s face as a sign that there was trouble in paradise with her and Graziadei, 29. Anderson was quick to share the video explaining that she was “a little emotional” and how “special” it was for Graziadei to give up. his dance to himself – and to be with many DWTS contestants pay tribute to important people in their lives, such as their mother. (Anderson’s mother died in 2018 after a battle with breast cancer.)
“I commented on it because I knew it would make me feel better,” Anderson explained Us. “I thought about it for a minute and I said, ‘You know what, I’m going to say something because maybe it will help people not jump to conclusions all the time.’

Anderson noted that she often gets “a bunch” of “crazy” comments. He added, “Maybe I’ll answer one in a hundred, if that. I thought it would make me feel better and it did. I got a lot of support for making that video which I really appreciated.”
Despite her video – and feeling better after it – Kelsey explained that she was going to “settle down” by responding to the trolls.
“I will not always react when people say things. But this thing made me feel bad, especially because it is so difficult,” he said. “I was like, ‘Guys, it was a rough night for me.’
Regardless of what anyone thinks, Anderson enjoys watching Graziadei DWTS each week. “I think the highlight for me is watching him play and knowing all the hard work he puts into it,” he said. “He always pushes his limits, he goes all the way. He will watch his dance videos and criticize himself to see where he needs to work.”
While living with Graziadei in LA during his time DWTS stint, he’s headed to NYC to do a project of his own. Anderson, who was outspoken Bachelor season 28 about the death of his mother, continues to raise awareness of the relationship with F— Cancer and the Little Words Project with a special gang event on Bleecker Street in Soho, New York. Attendees can make beads and buy bracelets with Anderson while raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The bracelet designed by Anderson will be available from October 23rd to 25th.

“I felt very fat when I found a name that probably included my mother [and] watching someone get treated for cancer and fight it and all these things,” Anderson said Us. “And I didn’t want to come up with the word, you know, fighter or strength. I wanted to do something a little different. I came up with the word ‘nalo’ to honor my mother because my mother will always be with me.”
