Mike, 46, took to Instagram on Sunday, October 20, to share a bunch of memories from his weekend activities, including marking a milestone with wife, Zara Tindalland friends of that couple.
Sharing a collection of photos and videos of Mike and Zara, 43, on a cruise, enjoying a delicious lunch and partying in Barcelona, , Spain, the UK-born former rugby player captioned his post, “What a birthday weekend!! Thanks to @georgieainslie @benainslie for having us and the whole @ineosbritannia team ! I’m gutted not to see the return but again [sic] a very good experience. Barcelona rocked again!!! @johnabassadone was just the best manager and @iainbalshaw brought the laughs!!”
Zara, who does not hold a royal title despite being 20th in line to the British throne, is the second child of Princess Anne again Mark Phillipswho divorced in 1992.

Mike and Zara married in 2011 and share three children together: Mia, born in 2014, Lena, born in 2018 and Lucas, born in 2021.
Zara was featured in several photos shared by Mike on social media, including a candid selfie that caught Zara smiling for the camera as she sat on her husband’s lap. Mike can be seen smiling a lot in the romantic photo as well.
A second photo of the compilation showed the duo charging glasses of bubbles to the camera as their two friends joined in the festivities. Mike’s post also included a photo of himself at a table overlooking the water with a British TV personality Georgie Ainslieas the yacht-shaped cake takes center stage in front of them.
Additional photos in the post include another selfie of Mike and Zara on a boat and another of Mike with his wife’s arm around them as they enjoy a dark spot.
Mike met Zara on a night out in Australia in 2003, he told the media Daily Mail in June 2011 that Zara was on a gap year in the country with her friends. “Clive [Woodward, my coach] I had just been told that I was eliminated from the semi-final, and I went out for a beer with two other non-players, Martin Corry again Austin Healey,” Mike told the store at the time. “Zara was at the bar; we were introduced but we didn’t talk much. Later, Austin gave me his number and said, ‘You want to text him, tell him where you’re going out after the finals so he can come with him.’ Aussie will love me saying this – she’ll be grateful we met.”
The retired athlete texted Zara, the decorated equestrian who won a silver medal at the 2021 Olympic Games in London, the next day and the rest is history.
