A source says that Liam Payne was dropped from his label due to flagging sales and that this action preceded his suicide by only a few days.
The source was tight-lipped about Payne’s lackluster career and how it stacked up (or rather, didn’t stack up) compared to the solo work of his teammates. “Liam’s development was huge and he never took it back,” they said. “Of all the boys in One Direction, Liam was on the wrong track musically.”
