Although there are no major celebrations on this day, the ritual of Masik Karthigai, also known as Karthigai Deepam, will be performed. TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR OCTOBER 19

On this day, Dwitiya Tithi will be valid till 09:48 AM, after which it will be replaced by Tritiya Tithi. Bharani Nakshatra will last till 10:46 AM, followed by Krittika Nakshatra. Moon will be in Mesha Rashi till 04:10 PM and then it will change to Vrishabha Rashi. Sun will be in Tula Rashi.
