The Bold and the Beautiful’s Steffy Forrester wants to really hurt Hope Logan. He wants to shut down the ‘Hope for the Future’ clothing line forever. But, Carter Walton has now made a passionate case to keep the clothing line alive.
In a recent interview with TV Water Cooler, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (who plays Steffy), said her B&B character’s reaction to Carter and Hope’s new romance will be “explosive”.
Steffy has been looking for any excuse she can find to stop production of Hope’s line. And, after Hope’s drunken kiss with her husband Finn, Steffy wants closure more than ever. Can you blame him?
With Thomas Forrester gone and out of the picture, Hope for the Future has been struggling. Currently, there seems to be no sign of Matthew Atkinson returning to The Bold and the Beautiful. Without Thomas as designer, it’s bad news for Hope.
Also, Brooke knows that Steffy will stop at nothing to break her daughter’s clothing line. Brooke even asked Finn to intervene, but he refused.
In an interview, Wood said, “Steffy’s mission is Hope, and it may be personal, but it’s also business. The Hope for the Future line is not working well.” This was also seen in a recent meeting at B&B regarding the line. At the meeting, everyone expected Steffy to cancel on the spot. However, Steffy surprised everyone by giving Hope more time to improve the line performance.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy Forrester Threatens to Close Logan’s Hope’s Clothing Line, Carter Walton Defends It
After the meeting, Steffy cornered Hope. She threatened to cut the line if she didn’t stay away from her husband.
Since then, Hope has been trying to forget about Finn. And now, she has had many distractions, such as romance with Carter Walton.
Carter made it clear that he would like to date Hope. But Liam is now crawling back and wants to get Hope back. Hope seems to be of great interest to Carter. Mainly because he thinks he can be a monogamous man, which might be good for him.
However, Steffy thinks Hope is trying to use Carter to help her failed streak. Steffy warned Hope not to use Carter to try to stop the closure of Hope for the Future, and Hope agreed. Themba was relieved that Steffy didn’t participate in what they were really doing.
Now, Carter makes a complaint to Steffy and Ridge. He doesn’t want to save only Hope for the Future, but he wants them to invest more in it. Like they did with Brooke’s Bedroom. Well paid.
Interestingly, Carter compared the two lines, as Ridge speaks for Brooke’s bedroom because of her romantic relationship. And now, Carter is now speaking for Hope in the future as she begins to become romantically involved with Hope.
B&B: Will Steffy Forrester Close Future Hope and Fire Hope Logan and Carter Walton?
Steffy Forrester kept pushing Carter to get strong sales numbers during the meeting at B&B. But, but he keeps changing the focus on Hope being someone that Forrester Creations can’t afford to lose.
Carter may sway the management of Forrester Creation to continue the line, and invest heavily in it. But his push on Hope’s behalf raises questions about whether he may have contradicted these assumptions by making things look better than they are.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood also said that Steffy doesn’t know about Carter and Hope’s relationship… yet. But he said, “it’s going to be huge if he finds out.” He added that it “puts the Forrester name at risk”. Also, he said the name is important to Steffy.
The feud on The Bold and the Beautiful could get ugly this week. Steffy might close Hope’s line, and she might fire both Carter and Hope.
Ridge and Eric may have to confront Carter about his feelings for Hope. They need to see if it affects his business decisions. In the end, Brooke will probably protect Hope and Carter. He might expect Ridge to take his side, putting him in a difficult situation with Steffy.
The situation at B&B is getting tense, and November sweeps are expected to break out, with only nine episodes left.
