The security guard says that when he visited to discuss his list of duties, the security officer spoke inappropriately and spoke badly of him. After this incident, he filed a complaint with the hospital management demanding that action be taken against the suspects.

On October 15, AIIMS issued a memorandum directing Dr KK Verma, head of the SC, ST, OBC grievance committee, and Dr Puneet Kaur, head of the internal grievance committee and HOD of the Biophysics department, to conduct the inquiry. . Both committees were tasked with presenting their findings within a week.
