Philadelphia Union midfielder Jeremy Rafanello on Wednesday agreed to a contract through the 2026 season.

Financial terms were not disclosed by the Union, which has options on Rafanello’s contracts for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

Rafanello, 24, has played in 10 games (four starts) for Philadelphia this season. He recorded his lone point with an assist in the Union’s 4–3 loss to FC Cincinnati on June 19.

Rafanello also played 12 minutes off the bench in one game last season.

“Throughout his two seasons with the Union, Jeremy has remained committed to his growth and development as a player,” said Ernst Tanner, the Union’s sporting director.

“He has stepped up in important games and is always ready when called upon. His increased minutes on the pitch this season is a testament to his performance, and we are delighted to be able to reward him with a new contract.”
