Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC 2024 to empower manufacturers to innovate

7th Industrial Transformation Program ASIA- PACIFIC (ITAP) – HANNOVER MESSE event, organized by Constellar and international partner Deutsche Messe, will take place from October 14-16, 2024 Singapore EXPO. Against the backdrop of national policies driving Artificial Intelligence (AI) development and industry adoption 1 in order to maintain long-term business and environmental sustainability, this year’s event will focus on the transformative potential of AI in improving productivity. As a technology provider, AI improves resources and processes to achieve ESG goals while balancing business growth and environmental sustainability. AI-driven solutions improve efficiency and productivity, improve workplace safety, reduce waste, and help align manufacturing operations with sustainability goals, paving the way for a greener future.

ITAP is the region’s leading exhibition for manufacturing solutions, and a launch pad for innovation. This year will feature more than 400 products and solutions exhibitors from more than 30 countries, including leading industry players such as Amazon Web Services, Azbil Corp., Delta Electronics, Jungheinrich Singapore, Red Hat, SAP, Siemens, and many others. Regional and national flyers from China, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and the UK will also promote cross-border networking, collaboration and information exchange in a vibrant single marketplace.

Launch of the First Industry White Paper Detailing AI Discovery

ITAP 2024 will launch the first industry-focused white paper, “Regenerative Manufacturing — Unlocking ASEAN Growth through Design and AI,” developed in collaboration with Kearney. The first of its kind aimed at accelerating the technological transformation of ASEAN’s manufacturing industries, more than 350 mid-to-senior managers across various manufacturing industries, including CxO-level managers, participated in surveys and interviews. The white paper explores how product design and integration solutions enabled by AI can It has opened up renewable manufacturing, which provides ASEAN manufacturers with a compelling path to rapid growth.

The white paper identifies key trends for manufacturers in the region to capture growth opportunities, providing possible steps to start remanufacturing. For example, nearly 60% of respondents identified AI investment as the most common productivity factor, followed by a focus on ESG and long-term sustainability at nearly 50%. The measures highlighted in the whitepaper aim to balance profitability and environmental sustainability, helping producers to transform long-term growth. The white paper also presents case studies from industries where innovation processes will be important.

“There is a great opportunity for ASEAN manufacturers to capture US$1.2 trillion in growth, and companies must ensure that they are well positioned for this. The journey to innovation will be an iterative one, evolving through continuous learning and adaptation. As a trusted advisor to leading companies around the world, Kearney is proud to drive transformational impact through Regenerative Manufacturing,” said Mr. Keat Yap, Asia-Pacific Co-Lead, Operations and Performance, Kearney.

A detailed sharing of the White Paper will be done by report authors Keat Yap, Partner and Young Han Koh, Principal, both from Kearney at 11.40 am on Day 1 at the Industrial Transformation Forum (ITF).

Learn about the use of AI through ITAP’s AI discovery tour and the Industrial Transformation Forum

With nearly 90% of Whitepaper respondents indicating AI investment as important, while only 23% are leading in AI adoption, ITAP 2024 determined AI Discovery Journey for attendees to discover the practical use of AI across the manufacturing value chain. Attendees can find practical insights and tools to integrate AI into their operations, and explore AI solutions, no matter where they are in their digital transformation journey.

AI integration is also taking the stage this year The Industrial Revolution The platform. Supported by Strategic Knowledge Partners Deloitte, Kearney, and McKinsey & Company, this two-day conference provides attendees with comprehensive insights and best practices from more than 60 influential global thought leaders. Key themes include:

  • To lead I The main road of Leadership, Digital revolution, and Complex Manufacturing with AI
  • Digitization with AI-Powered Intelligent Operations
  • Building Intelligent Manufacturing Strategies for Humans Powered by AI
  • Aligning Sustainable Manufacturing Practices with AI-Powered Solutions
  • Integrating AI Technologies to Build Sustainable Supply Chains

Attendees can check out the new launch by Cantier XO by Cantier Systems and FORXAI Mirror by Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia; and other intelligent and powerful AI demonstrations such as SAP Business AI in the supply chain by SAP, Senseye Predictive Maintenance and asset intelligence by Siemens, Contentserv Product Experience Cloud by Contentserv Inc., NMS- AIoT Application Server by Planet Technology Corp. , AI Autopilot and Innoglas by Innowave Tech, and many more.

“Business AI has the potential to bring significant benefits to our customers and partners, especially in the industrial space, creating resilience in the supply chain. At ITAP 2024, SAP will demonstrate how companies can ‘get the most out of their potential’ by transforming supply chains with AI-driven insights, recommendations, and automation that are integrated directly into specific business processes. Visitors can experience SAP Business AI functionality and learn all about the latest innovations in the industry, including GROW with SAP, SAP Digital Supply Chain, and sustainability solutions,” said Peter Moore, Chief Revenue Officer, Enterprise Cloud, SAP Asia Pacific Japan.

Siemens will also organize an Industrial AI networking session on Day 1 (Oct. 14) to connect with existing and potential customers. An early AI pioneer since the 1970s, and with decades of experience in abstract and process industries, Siemens is committed to enabling companies to successfully drive transformation by making industrial-grade AI accessible without the need for specialized AI technology. This is 6th year in which Siemens participated in ITAP.

“As a precursor to the development and use of Industrial AI, Siemens has long been working to develop AI capabilities in product design and manufacturing, operations and service delivery. At ITAP 2024, we will show how small and medium enterprises can transform their business by harnessing the power of AI to transform the way they design, develop, produce and operate,” said Isabel Chong, Senior Vice President, ASEAN – Digital Industries, Siemens.
