Taylor’s husband, Cameron Griggshared a photo following the funeral service on his Instagram Story on Friday, October 11.
“It was good, miss 🤍 ,” Cameron captioned a photo of a white box with matching flowers on top. A white cowboy hat and glittering belt buckle were placed among the roses. He set his post to 3 Doors Down’s “Here Without You.”
Taylor died earlier this month following complications from asthma and Addison’s disease. Cameron, who married the promoter in August 2023, confirmed his death on October 5.
“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age,” Cameron wrote on Instagram. “This past year, Taylor has faced more pain and suffering than most people experience in life. And despite that, he has always been a light and always brought joy to everyone around him.”
Cameron continued, “She is the bravest and strongest woman I know, and her trust in the Lord transcends every other situation she has faced, even in the darkest hours. I know you saved my life and many others out there. His earthly body is still with us and is managed by machines so that his organs can be donated.”
In her social media post, Cameron revealed how she planned to honor Taylor’s legacy going forward.
“Most of all Taylor would like to know that he continues to save lives even after he is no longer on this earth,” she wrote. “And even though his earthly body may have failed, his memory and his life will live on forever. He doesn’t owe anyone, anything. But he would like everyone to know that he is good. While his earthly body is still waiting to give the gift of life, we know that his spirit is in heaven dancing in streets made of gold with all his beauty and grace. Her collection of shoes/boots is endless. Along with her rhinestones and blue jewelry. “

He concluded by saying, “He is no longer in pain, but his body has been healed in the name of Jesus.” We can praise God that he will not tolerate suffering again and that he will be freed from these earthly chains! … I cling to the truth of knowing that we will be seeing him again! And we will be able to spend all eternity together!”
After Taylor’s death, Cameron added “Proud Husband 🤍” label in his Instagram bio.
