When I feel down, I think back to the days when staying up late was a rite of passage. Growing up, I resented my 7pm bedtime and hoped my parents would let me stay just a few more hours. Even as a college student, all-nighters were the norm and lack of sleep felt like the only way to have a social life. Well, needless to say I, along with many of you, no longer want to work on too few hours of sleep. We’re big fans of sleeping here and we’ll probably try it anything else to make sure we get at least 8 hours at night. That’s why we’ve rounded up the best sleep products. I hope they will help you get a closed replacement eye, too.

The Best Sleeping Products for a Restful Sleep

From calming capsules to pillow rests and the most luxurious pajamas you’ve ever worn, these are tried and true products that will help us all sleep soundly. As always, consult your doctor if you have specific needs or questions!

The best pajamas

Gone are the days of relying on old college t-shirts as our go-to wardrobe. Dedicated pajamas are essential for a good night’s sleep, combining comfort, style, and functionality. Look for materials like soft cotton, breathable linen, or luxurious silk that feel soft against the skin and allow for optimal temperature control. Investing in high-quality pajamas can elevate your nighttime culture. With the right outfit, you’ll not only look chic but you’ll also feel comfortable and ready for a restful night’s sleep.

Sleep Supplements

While I like to look to food first for my essential nutrients, sleep supplements can also play an important role in improving your night’s rest. Look for natural ingredients like melatonin, which helps regulate sleep cycles, or magnesium, which is known for its calming effects on the nervous system. Adaptogenic herbs like ashwagandha and valerian root are also popular choices for reducing stress and promoting relaxation. Formulas that include multiple sleep-supporting ingredients can provide a synergistic effect, helping you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

These days, most supplements are available in convenient—and often delicious—forms. You can find everything from gummies to bedtime lattes that are easy to incorporate into your nighttime routine.

Bed products for the bedroom

Creating a bedroom that’s perfect for relaxation starts with the best sleep products designed to enhance comfort and promote rest. Add soft, breathable bedding, such as natural cotton or luxurious silk, to create a cool atmosphere. (I love weighted blankets and getting my own helps ease the anxiety that used to keep me up at night.) Soft lighting, like a dimming bedside lamp, helps set the mood, while essential oil diffusers or sleep sprays can infuse your space with soothing scents. It’s all about cultivating a calm environment, so you can drift off into restful, restorative sleep.
