The two teams traded leads several times in the second half, and Evan McPherson’s fourth goal of the night with less than 10 minutes remaining put the Bengals in the lead.

But rookie Daijahn Anthony’s critical penalty was enough for Booker doing what he does best as the game clock ran out.
The battle for bragging rights has been building since the Chiefs won 23-20 in the 2023 AFC championship game (where Butter also kicked the game-winning field goal). Naturally, there was some trash talking ahead of Sunday’s game.

Standing tall, and waiting for the right moment, the mayor of Kansas City, Quinton Lucas, retaliated with his own words.
“I hope you had a great day in Missouri. You’re welcome back anytime.”
