Logitech makes some of my favorite keyboards, and the G Pro X TKL (or “tenkeyless,” meaning it doesn’t have a Numpad) is among the best gaming keyboards out there. It has active RGB LED backlit keys, as well as a choice of click, touch, or line switches, and uses Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless adapter for competitive gaming-grade response time. I like that the adapter allows you to pair multiple devices with a single, low-profile USB dongle, so you don’t have to use all your ports for your various accessories.
The build quality of this keyboard is sleek and stylish. It’s very small and doesn’t take up much space on your desk, and it has a subtle metal strip around the edge that gives it a little contrast that many simple keyboards lack. The volume wheel on the top right is smooth and easy to reach, and above there are handy media controls for stopping your music when you finally get into a game after a long queue. For my liking, the more clicky the keyboard is, the better, and the Black Clicky switches have served me well. Each key press feels like I’m sending a small thump through my game. However, if you prefer something softer, you can choose another type of switch. The only thing I don’t like is the lack of a Numpad—yeah, I’m one of those weirdos who prefers to have a Numpad. But for most people, this is a keyboard to beat.

It keeps the volume wheel, game mode toggle, and Bluetooth/Lightspeed buttons by moving them to the edge of the keyboard, while shrinking everything to a 60 percent layout.
